Just two weeks ago, my website had been hacked and what drove me crazy was I couldn't find out what was wrong, or which files were been hacked. All I knew was the site had been marked as containing malicious code by Google and hence visitors could not get to my site, which in another words, my site was blocked by Google!
At first, I thought it's a mistake by Google bot, cuz there were news from my Host saying that there were some sites in the network, especially those powered by Wordpress had been hacked. So, I kept requesting Google bot to review the site but no matter how many times I tried, it's still blocked.
Until yesterday, I finally found the problem! Indeed my site was hacked. And the files which contain malicious code, were... *drum rolls*, the jquery file. Mind you, who would have thought these files would be hacked and contain spammy code. Because these are site wide referenced, hence the whole site was treated as contaning malicious code.
After I removed them, my site came back unblocked by Google straight the next day. In the meantime, I am thinking of updating this site with new theme soon, when I have time. So, stay tuned.
